Echocardiography

Echocardiography is a common test which is used to diagnose and treat patients with heart diseases. It provides doctors with an insight into the patient’s heart including information about the size and shape of the heart, pumping capacity and existence of any tissue damage.

Colour Doppler

A Colour Doppler test is used to analyze the blood flow in a patient’s body, especially to the limbs. They can detect various anomalies such as blood clots, blocked arteries, valve defects, etc.

Stress Test (TMT)

A stress test requires the patient to walk/run on a treadmill which allows the doctor to measure the performance of the heart when exposed to stress. This test reveals information about the patient’s heart which otherwise cannot be obtained through regular electrocardiogram or echocardiogram.

Computerised ECG

A typical ECG is a test where the electrical activity of a patient’s heart is tracked and then analysed by a doctor. In a computerised ECG, the analysis is done by the computer thereby resulting in a quicker and more accurate diagnosis.
